What is zoingly!?
Pronounced /zo*ing*ly/
It’s like having an in house WordPress maintenance team for less than what you spend on coffee each month.
How does zoingly! work?
Once you pay for a Zoing.ly membership AND give us log in credentials to your website, you’ll get access to a dashboard where you can submit support tickets and request changes to the WordPress website associated with your zoingly! account.
What does a "small job" mean?
Small jobs are projects that can typically be completed by one of our team members in less than 30 minutes.
If your requested edit is too complex, one of our team members will reply to your ticket with a note that the item is out of the scope of the plan. We do our best to accommodate requests. We trust that our customers understand that our role is not as site developer. We offer the peace of mind of having round the clock support in small items that need handling and as needed maintenance of your site.
There can be instances that fall outside of the scope of the service that will require our customers to retain their own developer. This is necessary for customized jobs that are outside of the support function zoingly! is here to serve.
What are typical zoingly! website changes?
Text updates, image updates, plugin installation, and configuration.
Other examples of small jobs include:
Don’t see your taks listed? This is a short list of the services provide, if you have questions about a specific task or want to know more about how zoingly! can help optimize your website, feel free to ask a pre-purchase question
Please note: Graphic design and copywriting services are not included in zoingly’s monthly maintenance plans. We will resize and crop images but anything outside of these simple modifications are not eligible edits.
What is typically not included in the plans?
Larger complex jobs or custom work that involve the creation of graphics, custom copy or any other “creative services” are not included.
For example:
If you submit a ticket that falls outside of the zoingly! scope of work, then a member of our team will reply that the requested website edits are out of scope. At that time a WordPress developer will need to be retained in order to complete the task. We are focused on the all important task of maintenance, backup and restoration and small updates to your site that you need throughout the month.
zoingly! services are intended to handle small jobs, not large development projects. You may not submit a large job to the zoingly ticket system broken down into small development tasks. Tickets of this nature will be rejected.
We offer website edits but this is within reason and we will definitely let you know if we feel you are pushing the limits of your zoingly! membership.
Can I pay to expedite my ticket?
It is our mission to process each and every ticket as quickly as possible; typically within 1 business day. At this time, there is no way to pay extra in order to prioritize your support ticket.
What is a qualifying website?
One specific requirement for a zoingly! membership is that the website be built with WordPress.
The website should also be stable in it’s current state, as zoingly is not a troubleshooting or de-bugging platform. We can however work with you to bring your website up to speed and operating in a stable environment for an additional fee.
If the site has customized eCommerce (WooCommerce), customized themes, customized plugins, or require more dedicated support, then please inquire about Enterprise support. We will work with you to customize a plan to suit the particular needs of the site.
If you have any questions about whether or not your website is eligible for zoingly! services, ask a pre-purchase question here.
